Final Edited Brand Image.

I am really happy with the final outcome of my brand image. I think this shows the sleek and elegant average woman and is very empowering which follows my brands ethos. I am glad I chose the gold text of the No7 logo over white as I feel this coordinates better with my model's tan complexion. After thinking I was going to advertise a foundation I actually decided a lip product was better and fit the image with more ease. I am really happy with the finished product and hope to do shoots like this in future.

Final Brand Images. (Unedited)

These images are the top choices for my brand images.
I ended up using a model called Lauren Barnard as my model from the call sheet could not attend the shoot. I have left lots of the space on these images in order to add text and images. I am very happy with the final products and I think her makeup fits many age groups. I especially like the pictures where she is looking to the side as it seems as if she is playfully looking at what will be the brand title and product. This links in to my word Gambol, which means to playfully jump or leap.

Brand advert practice.

This shoot was a practice shoot where I used my brand advert makeup design while collaborating with a fashion styling student. I really like the outcome of the makeup from these images however I cannot use them for my final brand images because they are out of focus. It was good to practice for the end product though.

Final Edited Editorial Images.

I am so happy with the outcome of my images. I think my editing skills have definitely improved over the course of this year and I am very proud of the outcome of these images. The model's skin looks flawless and glowing, just like in editorial magazine spread. I think the style of the shot made the makeup quite hard to edit and I am so happy with the final outcome of my project.

Final Editorial Shots (UnEdited)

These are some of my favourite final shots from my editorial shoot where I collaborated with Jo Joyce who does fashion styling. These images came out so well and I am very proud of the makeup I created for this shoot. The lighting set up included one very large octagonal softball with the intensity turned all the way up on the lamp. I will now edit these and continue to  perfect my images in order to create photographs that could be featured in an editorial spread. I think my photographs, styling and makeup for this shoot have all come together to create the perfect composition of editorial images. I think my given word, Gambol, is shown well through these images. The white on the eyes and clothing shows the purity and innocence, while the purple on the lips shows an edgy playfulness and experimentation with a pop of colour. The slick hair shows the purity within the makeup as it is simple while looking very editorial and androgynous.

Practicing Editorial Designs:

Collaborating with Fashion Photography student Natasha Morsman again for her final project which was Sci-Fi inspired shoot I created a sleek final look including lots of glitter and little gems. This makeup look has been perfect practice for my final looks for my own editorial shoot as I actually practiced one of my editorial designs on the model, Jess using cool toned, blue gel lighting and playing with small fairy lights. I am really happy with the outcome of this photoshoot and I know that Natasha was too!

The design was based on this look, However instead of just glitter I added little silver gems and I removed the pink, making the colours much more cool toned.  I also made the eyebrows white. I think that the look seems much more editorial styled with white eyebrows and the sparkling gems add dimension which I didn't have in my designs before. This has given me more inspiration to change my designs and play with shape and style better.
