Initial thoughts:
At first I was very worried about this word as I had never heard it before and didn't know what it meant. However as I started to research into the word and created my pinterest board I began to come up with many other words that were not technically related to it but derived from a theme.
My theme and Idea is to use the act of playful running and jumping from the perspective of the emotions you feel when doing this. The main words I came up with were:
- Innocence
- Purity
- White
- Fluidity
- Dance
- Light
- Movement
- Glowing
- Youthful
- Playful
- Frolic
- Freedom
From here I wanted to make my idea more simplistic as then i can create an editorial and change it to my desire. I have decided to look at the word 'Dreams' as that reflects the ideas of endless possibility when it comes to freedom, playfulness and frolicking and i can create a photographic story that is cohesive with my ideas and plans for developing my project - Here are some images from my Pinterest boards based on this project and my research.
I am using the 'inspiration and research' board to look at models, makeup and positioning with my basic ideas while the 'dreams' board is for textures, colour palettes and backdrop ideas.
