Moodboard 1.

The word I was given was Gambol.
The definition of this is ‘to jump or leap playfully’
I decided to look at synonyms for my word which is listed above on my mood board  I added some of my own words based on the emotions that would be felt because of this word, such as freedom and innocence. The images I have chosen for my mood board reflect these words and show a good example of the aesthetic I want to create with my idea. Since creating the mood board I have decided to look into the idea of 'dreams' as gambol and freedom and innocence are all things that children and even adults dream of, anything is possible in a dream world and I think that that is a good basis to start to develop my editorial shoot.

Here are a few images I will might use to inspire my face charts, taken from Tumblr and Pinterest.

I  like the idea of using candy floss to represent this dystopian dream world full of clouds, adding a colour will also help me with my theme and colour scheme for my face charts. Candy floss can also be used as a prop to create these amazing hair designs or could even be used as a piece of clothing like a fur collar or a hat. I want my editorial to look playful, as the word Gambol suggests. but to still have an edge to it that is common in editorial work.
